Seward County Sheriff’s deputies made a big drug bust during a traffic stop on I-80 late Wednesday night. The sheriff’s office says deputies stopped a tractor trailer hauling eight vehicles at the Seward interchange.
Deputies became suspicious of a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was on the car hauler and its paperwork. The vehicle was unloaded and during an inspection, deputies located three tires that contained contraband.
The tires were taken to a local repair shop and further inspected. They found 30 pounds of marijuana and 10.5 pounds of Fentanyl inside of the tires. A follow Deputies eventually arrested three people from Ohio and seized $25,000 and an AK-47.
